| Abstract: | A novel method for enzymatic biotransformation of limonene to carvone has been developed. It involves addition glucose oxidase and peroxidase to the biotransformation medium. Some factors affecting biotransformation yield were investigated. Maximal yield of carvone occurred in the medium containing 1.5% substrate, at 50 degrees C and pH 7.0. |
