Changes in the Membrane Properties of Nodal Cells of Chara braunii Induced by Exposure to Artificial Pond Water

Nodal cells of Chara braunii were exposed to artificial pondwater (APW) for a month or more, with removal of larger surroundingcells. The membrane resistance, resting potential, amplitudeof the action potential, and threshold voltage measured fromthe resting level were examined.
