| Abstract: | 1H-Pyrrolo3,2-g]quinoline-4,9-diones and 4,9-dioxo-4,9-dihydro-1H-benzof]indoles were synthesized and tested for in vitro antifungal activity against fungi. Among them tested, many compounds showed good antifungal activity. The results suggest that 1H-pyrrolo3,2-g]quinoline-4,9-diones and 4,9-dioxo-4,9-dihydro-1H-benzof]indoles would be potent antifungal agents. |
