Abstract: | Lecidea roseotincta sp. nov. is described from Norway. The species is mainly characterized by a white to grey or ± pink, amyloid thallus containing psoromic acid, black apothecia with a weakly developed proper margin, 16-spored asci without a well defined ocular chamber, and simple or 1-septate, medially constricted spores. It grows on bark of deciduous trees, mainly Alnus incana , in coastal sites. |
