Abstract:
Abstract Heparan sulphate binding to Helicobacter pylori at pH 4 to 5 was inhibited with various sulphated polysaccharides (heparin and chondroitin sulphates, fucoidan, carrageenans and some others), but not by carboxylated or nonsulphated compounds. Heparin binding proteins are exposed on the cell surface.
