| Abstract: | The allocation and cycling of Si, Al, Fe and Mn among compartments of two typical grassland ecosystems in Xilin River Basin, Inner-Mongolia, were studies in this paper.The results showed that the order of the amount of elements Stored in the compartments of the two ecosystems was: Si>Al>Fe>Mn, and that the amount of elements stored in the compartments was different from year to year.
