| Abstract: | A research on plant biomass of subtropical secondary shrub thicket and shrub-grassland in Yi county of Anhui province has been carried out. By using direct harvest method the aboveground biomass of shrub thicket in six sample plots, two shrub-grassland and one evergreen broadleaf young forest was measured.The results show that the aboveground biomass of evergreen broadleaf young forest, secondary shrub thicket and shrub-grassland were respectively 61.74, 16.83 and 5.28 t/ha.
