Abstract: | Summary Endo-xylanase from T. viride has been purified 4.2 fold by precipitation with a commercially available enteric polymer Eudragit S-100. Electrophoretic analysis also indicated removal of contaminant proteins. The enzyme could be recovered in more than 89% yield. The binding of the enzyme to the polymer was predominantly by electrostatic interaction. |
