| Abstract: | The three-dimensional structure of the leaf cuticle has beenstudied microscopically on cuticular preparations from a numberof plants. The cuticle is one- to several-layered, the latterincluding, besides the epidermis, sub-epidermal layers suchas hypodermis, palisade, and spongy mesophyll. |
