Abstract: | Paxillibracon inornatus sp.n. from Tanzania is described, illustrated and distinguished from Paxillibracon tessmanni (Szépligeti), the only other known species of the genus. The scapus, antennal sockets, features of the venation and metasomal sculpture of P. inornatus sp.n. reinforce the earlier interpretation that Paxillibracon is derived from close to the base of the Atanycolus Foerster group of genera. |
