Abstract:The use of immobilized enzymes in the pharmaceutical,chemical, food and clinical diagnosis has increased steadily during the past decade. Efforts have been made to improve the recovery activity of immobilized enzyme. Further investigation is focused on how to control the orientation of enzyme molecules during immobilization, which is particularly important in constructions of biosensors, molecular device and biodevice array, as well as enzyme labeling. In this text,the methods and the applications of the oriented control of immobilized enzyme were expounded.This includes covalent immobilization, amino acid displacement, antibody coupling, biotin-avidin affinity and hydrophobic immobilization.
