Abstract: | Among Trinidadian guppies Poecilia reticulata , 15% of non-receptive females had recoverable sperm that must have come from successful sneaky matings. These results provide the first evidence that sneaky mating is a successful method of sperm transfer in wild populations of the guppy. |
