GC and GC-MS Analysis of Head-space Volatiles by Tenax GC Trapping Techniques

Abstract:New ingenol-esters were isolated from leaves of Euphorbia cotinifolia L, (Euphorbiaceae) as piscicidal constituents. On the basis of spectral properties, the structures were established as 3-O-propionyl-20-O-(S)-(2′-methyl)butyryl-ingenol (1), 20-O-isobutyryl-ingenol (2), 3-O-propionyl-20-O-isobutyryl-ingenol (3), and 3, 20-O-di-isobutyryl-ingenol (4).
