| Abstract: | This paper is concerned with a new mathematical and experimental method which allows measurement of the movement of particles in the membrane of 3T3 mouse fibroblast tissue cultures. It is based on the attachment and observation by ultramicroscopy of three arbitrarily selected gold particles (2 000–4 000 Å diameter) on the cell surface. |
