Abstract: | Histopathological and cytopathological abberations detected by anatomy and staining reactions indicated the association of mycoplasma-like organisms with the little leaf disease of eucalypt in Kerala. These light and fluorescent microscopic techniques, specially dienes ’reaction, can be used routinely to distinguish between little leaf disease caused by mycoplasma-like organisms and little leaf induced by some other factor. |
