云南蚋属一新种：双翅目：蚋科

本文描述在云南省采获的谭氏蚋新种Simulium tanae sp.nov.各期虫态标本。新种幼虫的亚頦与头囊腹面缺刻,蛹鳃呼吸丝组成与苏联蚋科志中的淡额蚋Simulium nlleri Friederichs和河蚋Simulium zalertum Edw.近似;茧的形态又近似于二齿吉蚋Gnus bidentatum Shirkl,但是雄的生殖器和雌的口器形态特征与上述种类差别较明显,因此鉴定为新种。新种模式标本保存于云南省流行病研究所。

A NEW SPECIES OF BLACK FLY SIMULIUM FROM YUNNAN PROVINCE, CHINA (DIPTERA: SIMULIIDAE)

Sinuilium tanae sp. nov.In this paper a new species of black fly Simulium tanae, collected from the west and nor-theaern part of Yunnan Province, is described. All the type specemens are kept in the Control and Research Institute of Epidemic Diseases of Yunnan Province.The hypostomium and postgenal cleft of larva and gill filaments of pupa of this new species are similar to those of the Simulium nolleri Fried, and Simulium galeratum Edward, while the shape of pupa cocoon is similar to that of the Gnus bidentatum Shiraki, but the adults are guite different in many aspects, distinguished chiefly by:1. ventral plate of male narrower; 2. median sclerite (genital furca) of male thin and plate-like. with a small median cleft apically; 3. paramere of male with 7 large spines and a number of small spines; 4. spermatheca of female globular in shape, surface with hexagonal reticulate pattern; 5. maxillae of female each with 15 strong teeth on either side, mandibles each with 13 outer teeth and 32 inner teeth,
