Abstract: | Resolution of several racemic epoxides was accomplished using an epoxide hydrolase activity of whole cells of the newly isolated Aspergillus niger. (S)-Styrene oxide, for example, was obtained from its racemates with optical purity of 100% ee and 32% yield. © Rapid Science Ltd. 1998 |
