Age and the succinate dehydrogenase activity of human cardiac neurons]
Authors:M V Uglova
Abstract:Under study was the SDG activity in human heart neurons in postnatal ontogensis. Succinic dehydrogenase was revealed with nitrablue tetrazole after Nachlas, quantitative measurements in preparations were made in a cytospectrophotometer. A regular developmental increase in the SDG activity in human heart neurons was established to have certain fluctuations in different age periods. The most intensive growth of the enzyme activity was found in early childhood, youth and senile age which is related to physiological state of the organism and the cardio-vascular activity.
