| Abstract: | Two-dimensional gel electrophoresis analysis of and total cell protein determination for three bacterial isolates from marine waters at the onset and after 24 h of energy and nutrient deprivation demonstrated that the three isolates exhibited different pathways of starvation survival. Two strains appeared to synthesize new proteins during starvation. |
