| Abstract: | A stain of 0.1% toluidine blue in a 1.0% aqueous solution of triethylene glycol followed by decolorization with acid-alcohol resulted in mycobacteria retaining the stain (violet), whereas non-acid-fast bacteria were decolorized. |
