Abstract: | Amino acids were conveniently isolated from urine by a combination of weak anion- and strong cation-exchange resins and fractionated into groups by displacement chromatography. Glucosylgalactosylhydroxylysine and galactosylhydroxylysine were subsequently separated by paper chromatography, whereas hydroxylysine and lysine were separated by ion-exchange chromatography. |
