| Abstract: | Glucocorticoid use results in an increase risk for fractures. Over the past 10 years, we have a greater understanding of the epidemiology, pathophysiology, prevention and treatment of glucocorticoid induced osteoporosis. This article reviews these recent findings and selective practice guidelines. |
