Variability of the response types induced by cyclic 3',5'-adenosine monophosphate into identified molluscan neurons

In all investigated neurons of snail Helix pomatia an injection of cAMP evoked depolarization and spike generation. The possible experimental mistakes leading to another types of response are considered.
