| Abstract: | Four new alleles at the rabbit ( Oryctolagus cuniculus ) mannose-6-phosphate isomerase (E. C. 5. 3. 1. 8, MPI) locus are proposed to account for phenotypes observed after starch gel electrophoresis and enzymatic staining of red cell lysates and tissues. Population data from various wild and domestic rabbit populations are presented. |
