| Abstract: | Adenylate cyclase activity has been detected in the shoot apicesof Bryum argenteum at the ultrastructural level, using adenylylimidodiphosphate as substrate. Heavy deposits of the reactionproduct were observed along the plasma membrane, tonoplast andthe membranous system of developing plastids.
