| Abstract: | The expression and distribution of DNA polymerase alpha was measured by cytometry and confocal laser scanning microscopy. Expression was proportional to DNA content in proliferating cells, while only S-phase cells retained DNA polymerase alpha after detergent extraction. Nuclear DNA polymerase alpha binding may be one of the key events of S-phase entry. |
