Abstract:	Abstract A series of 3-cyanopyridine glycosides have been synthesized and evaluated for their inhibitory activity against human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) replication in MT-4 cells. Among the 3-cyanopyridine glycosides 6-(p-methylphenyl) and 6-(p-aminophenyl) were the most selective inhibitors of HIV replication.
