| Abstract: | The role of competition in structuring plant communities has recently entered a new phase by considering interactions with pollinators. In this issue of Journal of Vegetation Science, Fantinato et al. show that co‐occurring grassland plants tend to use different pollinators or diverge in anther morphology. The study opens the door for investigation of the ecological and evolutionary processes that generate this pattern. |
