| Abstract: | Summary Formation of very fast sedimenting DNA (VFS-DNA) in cells of Escherichia coli infected with phage T4 carrying a defect in gene 49 was differentially affected by a secondary mutation in gene 30 or 46; a mutation of gene 46 markedly reduced formation of VFS-DNA, whereas that of gene 30 did not. |
