Abstract: | The mycobacterial activities of cinamyl rifamycin derivatives, T-9 and T-11, especially against extracellular and intracellular Mycobacterium avium complex residing within macrophages and type II pneumocytes were compared with those of other rifamycins. The activities of test rifamycins were found to be in the order rifalazil, rifabutin, T-9, T-11, and rifampicin. |
