Abstract: | Barley, pea and rape were grown in controlled environments atday/night temperatures ranging from 13/4 to 35/27?C. Shoot tissuewas analyzed for changes in the natural abundance ratio of l3C/12C.More13C was incorporated during growth at low temperatures thanat higher temperatures, but the change in isotopic ratio wasnot linear over the temperature range employed.
