| Abstract: | The effects of long-term dehydroepiandrosterone treatment on the pentose shunt in adipocytes and hepatocytes from female lean Zucker rats were determined. No significant effects could be attributed to this treatment. There was also no effect on basal or epinephrine-stimulated glycerol release from adipocytes. |
