| Abstract: | A xanthone, montrouxanthone and a dihydroisocoumarin, montroumarin were isolated from the stem bark of Montrouziera sphaeroidea Pancher Ex Planchon et Triana [Guttiferae], along with two known compounds. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic analyses. This is the first report of the analysis of chemical constituents of Montrouziera species. |
