| Abstract: | The new species Solanum pronum Thulin, from Acacia-Commiphora bushland in eastern Ethiopia and central Somalia, is described and illustrated. It is a member of Solanum sect. Somalanum and is compared with S. benadirense, S. jubae and S. pampaninii. |
