Coordination behaviour of ferrocenylthiosemicarbazone in a novel hetero trinuclear nickel(II) complex: Synthesis, spectral, electrochemistry and X-ray crystallography

Abstract:The coordination behaviour of ferrocenylthiosemicarbazone was investigated in a trinuclear [Ni(Fctsc)2] complex. The structure of the complex has been studied by X-ray crystallography. The complex crystallizes in rhombohedral space group View the MathML source with six molecules per unit cell has the dimensions of a = 28.8042(2) Å, b = 28.8042(2) Å and c = 19.5131(3) Å, α = 90°, β = 90°, γ = 120°. The electronic communication between the metal centers has been studied by cyclic voltammetry.
