| Abstract: | The basic principle and characters of Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA (RAPD) and its application to cultivars identification, pedigree analysis, genetic map construction, location of genes, and breeding of fruit trees are reviewed. Some problems in RAPD application are also discussed. |
