| Abstract: | Total RNA was extracted from Mustella vison pituitary gland, and cDNA for proopiomelanocortin mRNA was synthesised and cloned. A 600 b. p. insert encoding for total ACTH, beta LPH and 3'-nontranslated end of the mRNA was sequenced using the Maxam-Gilbert technique. |
