| Abstract: | Quercetin has wide pharmacological effects.It has been reported that quercetin inhibits the aggregation and lowers intracellular free calcium of platelets.In order to clarity the mechanism,we studied the relation between quercetin and F actin formation induced by thrombin in pig platelets was studied.The method of Triton precipitation to separate F actin was taken.It is shown that quercetin can strongly inhibit the polymerization of actin.And the inhibition is in a dose response manner with IC 50 =60 μmol/L.It is suggested that quercetin inhibition of aggregation of platelets may involve in quercetin inhibitin of F actin formation. |
