Riccia crystallina L. and Riccia Cavernosa Hoffm. in Britain

Abstract

Riccia crystallina and R. cavernosa are reported in Britain. Descriptions, with particular reference to the characters of the spores, are given for R. crystallina, R. cavernosa and R. huebenerana. A brief summary of the British distribution of these species and a key to their identification are included.
