| Abstract: | The treatment of 3,4,6-tri-O-acetyl-D-glucal and unprotected D-glucal with trimethylsilyl cyanide, under thermal conditions in the absence of catalyst, afforded the corresponding 2,3-unsaturated glycosyl cyanides in high yield. |
