Enantiomeric differentiation of bornyl acetate by 13C-NMR using a chiral lanthanide shift reagent

Abstract:The enantiomeric differentiation of bornyl acetate was carried out by 13C-NMR spectroscopy using a chiral lanthanide shift reagent. The technique was successfully applied to the determination of the enantiomer of bornyl acetate present in the essential oil of Inula graveolens.
