Abstract:Comparative experiments of the induction of buds and roots from the explants of cotyledon, hypocotyl and young leaves of %Hypericum perforatum %L. under the different kinds and concentrations of hormones were carried out %in vitro. %The results indicated that bud differentiation of explants on MS medium with BA and NAA could be observed, and the ratio of BA to NAA influenced the organogenesis of explants to a great extent. When the concentration of BA was 3 mg/L, the optimal concentration of NAA for bud differentiation of cotyledon, hypocotyl and young leaves were 0.2 mg/L, 0.1 mg/L, 1.0 mg/L respectively. Rooting was observed when NAA 1.0 mg/L or the combination of NAA 0.5 mg/L with IBA 0.5 mg/L supplemented to the MS medium, and eventually grew into a complete plantlet.
