| Abstract: | A problem of leukotrienes--metabolites of arachidonic acid is reviewed in immunological aspects. Their nomenclature is given; basic pathways of biosynthesis, transformation and mode of leukotriens participation in hypersensitivity and inflammatory reactions are considered. The possibility of application of leukotrienes antagonists and inhibitors of their formation for allergic diseases treatment is discussed. |
