| Abstract: | The haptoglobin groups were typed for 510 subjects from 3 ethnic groups, Han, Olunchun and Xibo in the northeast region of China. The gene frequencies of haptoglobin were calculated in 3 ethnic groups and were compared with each other. The distributions of Hp phenotype were compared and no evidence of difference among these 3 populations was found. Association of Hp gene with ABO blood group was also studied. |
