| Abstract: | An efficient convergent strategy for the synthesis of a range of spacer-containing pneumococcal oligosaccharides of serogroup 6 and derivatives thereof has been developed. The spacer-containing oligosaccharides were deprotected and are available for subsequent conjugation and immunological studies, which are underway in our laboratory. |
