Abstract: | Comparative studies of acridine orange (AO) and ethidium bromide interactions with supercoiled DNA (scDNA) of thymocytes were performed in which various conformational changes were induced. AO may be efficiently used for evaluation of conformational alterations of scDNA. Moreover, employing the maximum values of AO fluorescence allows to determine the maximum levels of scDNA relaxation. |
