| Abstract: | The taxonomic history, relationships, distribution, ecology and cultural requirements of Begonia goudotii A.DC., are reviewed. This species, which is endemic to Madagascar and especially notable for its large basal leaves (usually solitary in the wild), is described and floral diagnoses are presented. |
