Susceptibility of apples to infection by Gloeosporium album |

| Abstract: | A rain simulator was used to show that the susceptibility of apples to infection by conidia of Gloeosporium album was markedly influenced by the amount of water falling on the fruit prior to inoculation. The rate of infection by G. perennans was also increased by this treatment. |
