青霉属的一个新种

摘    要:本文报告从贵阳市细叶桉树流胶上分离到的一株青霉,在查氏琼脂上生长极为局限,菌落质地为绳状,并形成匍匐枝样的菌丝,超越菌落之外再重新进入培养基内生长。帚状枝大多为双轮对称型,少数单轮生或不规则分枝。瓶梗不呈典型的披针形。分生孢子球形至近球形,具瘤状突起。分生孢子链形成相当致密的短柱,一部分的顶部稍尖。该菌属于双轮对称青霉组的绳状青霉系,近于擒状青霉(Penicillium piceum Raper et Fenncll),但区别在于菌落特征明显不同和具有瘤状突起的分生孢子,命名为树脂青霉(Penicillium resinae sp. Nov)。

A NEW SPECIES OF PENICILLIUM

Abstract:A new species, Penicillium resinae sp. nov., is reported in this paper. Colonies on Czapek's agar growing very restrictedly, with central area raised, showing aerial ropes of hyphae; conidial area in dark olive shades; colony margins irregular, charaterized by the presence of stolonlike aerial hyphae which re-entered the substratum beyond the limits of the submerged vegetative mycelium; reverse uncolored; penicilli biverticillate and symmetrical but with monoverticillate structures and additional branches occurred; conidiophores arising mainly at right angles from funiculose hyphae, often very short; metulae compactly arranged; phialides not characteristically lanceolate but somewhat tapered abruptly to narrow-conidium bearing tubes; conidia globose to subglobose, tuberculate; conidial chains in short columns with tips somewhat pyramidal or divergent. This species, on account of the structure of the penicilli and the texture of its colonies, is to be classified in the Penicillium funiculosum series, Bivertieillata-Symmatrica, near Penicillium piceum Raper et Fennell. However, it differs markedly from the latter in rate of growth and in the characters of its conidia as well as in the presence of stolon-like aerial hyphae. Moreover, it was found to be sufficiently different from other species of the genus described so far. Therefore, it is described and proposed as a new species. The fungus was isolated from the resins of Euclayptus tereticornis Smith and hence the specific epithet. The type specimen HMAS 42799 as well as living culture AS 3.4387 have been deposited in the Institute of Microbiology, Academia Sinica, Beijing, China.
