| Abstract: | A protocol that allows fast recovery and further analyses of chromosomal DNA adjacent to the Tn916 site of insertion is described. The procedure is based on single specific primer PCR amplification using restricted chromosomal
DNA ligated into a suitable vector. Two primers, one Tn916-specific and the second vector-specific, allow amplification of the chromosomal DNA flanking the site of insertion. |
